Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information. Use the tracking link in that email to follow your package’s progress.

If you have not received a shipping confirmation, please check your spam or promotions folder. Your order may still be processing, particularly during holidays, sales, or periods of high order volume.

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the correct shipping address. Orders generally leave our Ojai workshop within 1–4 business days, but some may be packed and shipped sooner.

We will gladly update the address if your order has not yet been processed for shipment. Once a package has shipped, we cannot guarantee that its destination can be changed. You may need to contact the shipping carrier using the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation.

Please review your shipping address carefully during checkout. Bogue Milk Soap cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement when an order is delivered to the address submitted with the purchase.

Yes. Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the email address used at checkout. If your order has not shipped, we can cancel it and issue a refund to the original payment method.

Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled. Because some orders are prepared sooner than expected, submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee cancellation until you receive confirmation from us.

Any approved refund may take additional time to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Most orders leave our Ojai workshop within 1–4 business days. Some orders may ship sooner, while holidays, sales, or unusually high order volume can require additional preparation time.

Once your package ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Delivery time begins after the carrier receives your package and varies by destination and shipping service.

If you need an order by a particular date, please contact us before purchasing. We will let you know whether the requested timing is likely, although carrier delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

Bogue Milk Soap does not operate a public brick-and-mortar store. Our goat milk soaps and botanical bath and body products are available through select independent retailers.

In Ojai, one block from our mailing address is Rainbow Bridge Natural Foods at 211 E Matilija St for the largest & broadest local selections of Bogue Milk Soap products. Also Downtown is Sundays Boutique or on the west side the Flora Gardens Nursery. Selection and availability may vary, so we recommend contacting the retailer before making a special trip for a particular blend.

Yes. We offer free standard shipping on U.S. orders of $55 or more. Express delivery and carrier-calculated UPS services remain available at their displayed rates.

Free shipping does not apply to international orders. International shipping is $45 for packages under four pounds and $65 by FedEx for qualifying orders weighing four pounds or more.

The final shipping options and rates available for an order will be displayed at checkout.

First, check around entrances, porches, gates, mail areas, parcel lockers, and other protected locations where the carrier may have left the package. Please also ask members of your household, neighbors, building management, or front desk staff whether they accepted it.

Carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered shortly before the final drop-off, so allow until the end of the next business day. If it still has not appeared, contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number and request delivery details or location information.

You may also contact us with your order number and tracking information. We will assist with a carrier inquiry when appropriate, but an order marked as delivered is not automatically eligible for a refund or replacement.

Please photograph the shipping box, packaging materials, shipping label, and damaged products before discarding anything. Then contact us promptly with your order number and the photographs.

We will review the damage and, when appropriate, submit a claim or inquiry to the shipping carrier. Please retain all products and packaging while the issue is being reviewed. Resolution depends on the circumstances of the shipment and the information available, so contacting us does not automatically guarantee a refund or replacement.

Yes. Local pickup may be arranged, and we personally deliver many orders within the Ojai area when scheduling and location permit.

Our BESPOKE and WELLNESS soaps are complete botanical compositions rather than ordinary bars scented with a single oil. Each blend combines selected plant oils, mineral clays, botanicals and multiple essential oils around a particular activity, landscape or daily ritual.

Some formulations also include purposeful exfoliating ingredients such as oatmeal, coffee, cornmeal, seeds, salts and finely ground herbs. No.11 Gardener and No.12 Chefs are distinctive two-layer soaps, combining a creamy goat milk soap base with a more textured working surface developed for hands exposed to soil, food preparation and frequent washing.

Bogue Milk Soap products are made in small batches in our family workshop in Ojai, California. Our family has developed and handcrafted botanical soap, bath, body, and wellness products in Ojai since Grandma Helen Bogue founded the business in 1973.

Our goat milk soaps are made using traditional cold process methods with fresh goat milk, plant oils and butters, mineral clays, botanicals, and pure essential oils. Each batch is mixed and poured by hand before the bars are cut, slowly cured, finished, and individually wrapped.

Our lotions, shower gels, essential oil sprays, roll-ons, beard care, and other botanical products are also formulated and produced in small batches. We do not operate a mass-production facility or outsource our products to a private-label manufacturer.

No. Bogue Milk Soap products are made without synthetic fragrance oils or artificial dyes. Our aromas come from pure pressed or steam-distilled essential oils.

Natural colors come from ingredients such as mineral clays, botanicals, activated charcoal, turmeric and chlorophyll. Because these ingredients and our small-batch methods naturally vary, slight differences in color and appearance are normal.

Products containing essential oils are not fragrance-free. Customers who prefer soap without added aromatic oils should choose one of our unscented formulations.

Bogue Milk Soap is affiliated with the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild, Green America, and recognized cruelty-free organizations whose logos appear on our website. These affiliations reflect our commitment to responsible small-batch production, ingredient transparency, environmental awareness, and products made without animal testing.

Bogue Milk Soap formulations are made with 100% certified organic plant oils and thoughtfully sourced botanical ingredients. However, our handmade products even with 99% organic ingredients are not certified because maintaining state or federal certification across our extensive handcrafted collection would add substantial cost.

We use responsibly sourced RSPO-certified palm oil and formulate without synthetic fragrance oils or artificial dyes. Our aromas come from pure pressed or steam-distilled essential oils, while the natural colors and textures of our products come from botanicals, mineral clays, and other formulation ingredients.

Palm oil contributes hardness, stability, and a long-lasting creamy lather to traditional cold process soap. It helps create a durable bar that performs consistently without relying on synthetic hardeners or detergents.

Bogue Milk Soap uses RSPO-certified palm oil, which supports more responsible sourcing standards within the palm oil supply chain. We combine it with fresh goat milk and more than twelve plant-based oils and butters selected for their individual contributions to cleansing, conditioning, lather, texture, and bar longevity.

Our approach to sustainability also includes small-batch production, minimal packaging, recycled paper labels, and the reuse or repurposing of shipping materials whenever practical.

This retains the sustainability topic while answering a real ingredient question customers may have.

Yes. We include a complimentary Bogue Milk Soap sample with online orders whenever available. It is a small way for our family to introduce you to another handcrafted goat milk soap blend.

Samples are selected according to current availability, so we cannot guarantee a particular soap or accommodate every scent request. Complimentary samples are not full-size products and are not available for separate purchase or shipment.

We do not routinely provide samples of lotions, shower gels, essential oil sprays, roll-ons, or other liquid products.
